ODC Solutions was founded by two electricians who had experienced the frustrations of traditional labour hire first-hand, inefficiencies, poor leadership, and a transient workforce. Knowing there had to be a better way, we created a company that prioritises long-term partnerships, reliable support, and seamless workforce integration.

What started in the electrical trade has grown into a trusted labour hire and recruitment business servicing construction and manufacturing. We take pride in solving workforce shortages quickly and effectively, connecting skilled professionals with businesses who need them.

James Considine

Managing Director

With over a decade of experience in the electrical industry, I spent the first 11 years of my career working as an electrician on diverse projects spanning from mining to commercial and domestic construction. Having worked in various roles, from licensed electrician to leading hand/supervisor and business owner, I gained valuable hands-on experience in all facets of the trade.

After years in the field, I made the transition to the recruitment side of the industry, where I now focus on sourcing and acquiring top talent for construction projects across multiple trades and services.

I’m passionate about leveraging my technical background to match exceptional talent with the needs of our clients, delivering successful outcomes on every project. Whether it's securing skilled tradespeople or finding leadership for complex projects, I’m dedicated to making sure businesses have the right team to succeed.

Jerome O'Dowd

Managing Director

With 19 years of experience in the electrical and construction industries, I have built a diverse career across commercial, industrial, and mining sectors. Starting in the electrical trade in 2006, I have advanced into Supervision and Construction Management roles, successfully delivering complex projects while refining my leadership and technical skills.

My commitment to personal and professional growth has enabled me to be a part of building high-performing teams which has lead to many successful project outcomes.

Leveraging this expertise, I am the Co Founder of ODC Solutions, a recruitment and labor hire company dedicated to providing tailored workforce solutions across industries with a big emphasis on “Quality over Quantity ”
